We grew to love Nathaniel Buzolic on The Vampire Diaries as the middle Mikaelson brother, Kol. Sure, he may not have been the most notable character — and he was pretty bad all the time, too — but he was always adorable when he and Klaus had their little brotherly bond moment.

Now that Kol met his maker in a blaze of glory at the hands of Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen) and their handy dandy white oak ash, he’s going to be moving on from The Vampire Diaries. Luckily the sexy Australian has already snagged a role on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars.

When a fan tweeted at him and asked what the most important goal he’s ever achieved in his 30-year-old life would be, Nate didn’t fail to deliver an “aww” factor that would be almost impossible to beat.

“I promised my mum at 12 that I would take her to Italy one day... I did this year... 12 year old Nathaniel cried tears of joy,” Nathaniel tweeted.

We just love that Nate was so open about his adorable trip with his mom! It’s good to know that he isn’t as crazy as Kol was. Hopefully we’ll see him score a huge romcom role soon so we can see just how precious he can really be, huh?
